Since 1853, Mount Vernon has existed as the national monument to our country’s first president and greatest hero, George Washington. The principal mission of the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association has been to preserve and restore Washington’s estate and to educate Americans about Washington’s legacy of character and leadership. Today, Mount Vernon is regarded as America’s most popular historic property, welcoming more than one million visitors each year. In addition, the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association has been on the forefront of historic preservation since saving Mount Vernon from neglect in 1858. Utilizing TMA as their Maintenance Management solution, Mount Vernon has continued to undertake a number of important projects to protect these historic structures and landscaping that comprise this great estate.
TMA is proud that it has been the Maintenance Management System selected and utilized by the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association in preserving and restoring George Washington’s home, Mount Vernon.
